Are the general AI tools not enough?
For tasks that do not involve internal information, they work well. What is usually missing is the connection to your own systems and permissions, the ability to control which information may be used, and a traceability that can be demonstrated during an audit. Violet is built for that part of the work, and does not exclude you from using general tools for the rest.
Why not build it ourselves?
It is possible, and for some organizations, it is the right path. In-house development means that you build and manage integrations, authorization models, logging, and model management yourselves, and that the expertise needs to be retained over time. With Violet, those parts are already in place, allowing the work to be focused on what is specific to your business.
What do we own?
Your data and your documents are yours. What is built for your business — assistants, instructions, knowledge sources, and integrations — is also yours. The platform itself is licensed from Violet. What applies upon termination, including the export of data and configuration, is regulated in the agreement.
How do we know that it is regulatorily compliant?
You receive documentation that can be used in your own audit: data flows, access model, logging, subcontractors, and operating environment. The platform is based on role-based access control, encryption, and audit logs, and supports compliance with NIS2, DORA, GDPR, and the EU AI Act. The responsibility for ensuring your business complies with regulations lies with you, and the platform will provide you with the necessary documentation.
How long does it take before something is in operation?
The time depends on how many data sources need to be connected and what the permissions look like. A limited first use case is usually in operation within a few weeks.
